The performers are internationally-recognised professionals who have been brought together by a common interest in the crossover between their genres: opera, dance and Latin American jazz.

The line-up includes: acclaimed Cuban jazz violinist Omar Puente (regularly seen alongside Courtney Pine); bandoneon player Julian Rowlands who arranged the music for Olivier nominated West End show Midnight Tango; opera singer Ann Liebeck whose career has taken her from the Vienna State Opera to opera houses around Europe; charismatic contemporary dancer and singer Nuno Silva who recently performed at The National Theatre in the Tori Amos musical The Light Princess; and tango dancers Mina and Giraldo, known for their performances in Madonna’s film, Evita, and Olivier award-nominated show, Midnight Tango. They perform accompanied by a hand-picked tango band presenting new arrangements written specially for this show by Argentinian Grammy award winner Nicolás ‘Colacho’ Brizuela , Olivier award-nominated composer, Julian Rowlands (Midnight Tango) and young British composer Alex McGery. The band includes pianists Alfredo Ovalles and Michael Haslam and bass players Guillermo Delgado and Rory Dempsey.

The sets, inspired by Buenos Aires street scenes, are painted by artist/designer Gilles Gubelmann and the show is choreographed by top Argentinian dancer David Benitez and Rambert Dance Company choreographer Kati Codogno. Nuno Silva and Mina and Giraldo choreograph their solo dance numbers.
